Some of the latest technologies include GPS, Bluetooth speakers and automatic DVD changers. A double DIN DVD monitor is one such advancement and has become quite popular in the recent years. In this article I am going to show you how to install a double DIN monitor DVD in your car. The typical panel size of a single DIN unit is 180*50 mm but the panel size of a double DIN unit is 180*100 mm. so it is pretty obvious that the main difference between a single DIN unit and a double DIN unit lies in the size of the panel. With a larger panel size, a double DIN unit allows the user to access GPS or watch a movie. For the purpose of illustration I am using a 2005 silverado but the same steps are applicable to almost all types of cars.
