You can dig up a Mafia Wars firebomb in a number of ways, one of which is in the Soldier level job named “Steal a Tanker Truck”. They drop randomly but you might get lucky and find one in a fight or on a job, since the go down is random, you might have to do a job a number of times to get one.
Getting a firebomb is needed in order to complete the Enforcer job, “Burn Down a Tenement”. The Mafia Wars firebomb has an attack rating of 4 and a defense rating of 2.
Weapons In General
Weapons play an important role in Mafia Wars. The game requires certain weapons for jobs as you progress as well as for fighting, so it is a good idea to arm your family well. Two things that you want to make sure the weapons you are collecting have are high attack ratings and the ability to be gifted to family members. This is so that you can send weapons to family members who want them.
It is important to note that some weapons have a cash upkeep value connected to them. Just by possessing these weapons you cash balance will go down each time the upkeep payments are taken. Watch your cash balance and be sure you have enough to upkeep your weapons.
Note: This will no longer be the case in the new versions that uses Rackets instead of Properties.
Where Can You find Weapons?
You will find that there are a number of ways to dig up weapons.
Getting weapons from your family is just about as easy as it gets. A family member can simply gift a weapons to you so that you can use it as part of your inventory. You might want to keep a few of the better weapons in stock so that you can gift them to family members when they need them. The benefit of this is that when a new family member joins you will already have the weapons to supply them with.
If you have enough cash, you can purchase weapons. Weapons can be purchased under the inventory tab.
